Pilates for Runners - Online (90 mins)

Whether you are a running pro or a novice, the impact of running on joints can be intense. During this workshop we will look at how to warm up the body before your run, the optimal running mechanics and exercises for cooling down and stretching after your run. There will be a large focus on feet, knees and hips, as well as the less talked about but equally important upper body and how the rib cage and chest should move while you run. For this workshop you will need a stretchy band, small prickly ball (the softer kind available from our shop), and a smaller denser ball (like a small bouncy ball, or cat toy). Class is suitable for all running levels, and all Pilates levels.
